On Saturday, June 14, we met in the area of ​​the Castellbò and Aravell rivers, 13 Volunteers from various parts of Catalonia and Andorra.

We dedicated ourselves to clearing and marking the section that goes from La Borda del Riu to the Granja de Cal Tamborino, past the Aravell Golf.

An area that in some sections is difficult to travel since the farmers in the area sometimes do not respect the traditional paths, build fences or sow them, making free movement difficult. We have already spoken with the owners of the fields and are finding solutions to respect private properties at the same time as respecting the public paths that follow the course of the Castellbò and Aravell rivers.

The passage of the Aravell Golf constitutes another problem. Walkers usually cross the Golf from the inside, paying attention to the impacts of balls. However, if you don’t want to cross the Golf, we have marked an alternative path with yellow circles that borders the Golf on the western side.
