From May 17 to 19 we did a Spiritual retreat in Pallerols with the attendance of 10 people: Tony, Nacho, Andreas, Àngel, Jordi C., Pepe, Josep Antoni, José Juan, Jordi P and Ramon.

For dinner, sleep and breakfast, we went to a hotel in Peramola and the rest of the day we were in the church and rectory of Pallerols.

The daily activities were as follows: 2 meditations in the morning and 2 in the afternoon, a talk on some spiritual topic, mass, rosary, Way of the Cross, reading some spiritual book, examination of conscience, etc.

The solitude and silence of Pallerols is a perfect setting to make a deep examination of the past life and make improvement plans for the immediate future.

One of the attendees titled this retreat with the name: “The Whisper of God”, which perfectly defines what happened in Pallerols during those days of silence that we spent there.

Indeed, in Pallerols one discovers “the personal way”, as Mons. Javier Echevarría when someone asked him what should be asked of Our Lady of Pallerols.

And so it was.
