Start of the procession

On Saturday, May 10, the Association of Friends of the Pallerols Way from Rialb to Andorra, organized a pilgrimage to Pallerols. About 30 people from Andorra, Lleida, Sant Cugat, Barcelona, ​​Badalona, Senegal, … attended, and Carlos Figuero also accompanied us as a representative of the Torreciudad Sanctuary with whom we shared interesting experiences of collaboration.

The announcement of rain for this weekend meant that fewer people came than in previous years; however, the pilgrimage was a success, it did not rain and the mild atmosphere accompanied us throughout the day.

Around 11 in the morning we began with a guided tour and then, at 12:15, the procession took place -around the church- with the image of the Virgin of the Rosary of Pallerols.

Then the celebration of the Eucharist presided over by Mn. Xavier Pont, from Lleida, and at the end we sang the joys of Pallerols.

Then, we made a big fire to cook the meat on the grill and around 2:00 pm we had the aperitif and a good lunch of what people brought.

All in all, a delicious evening around the Virgin of Roser of Pallerols. We prayed for the new holy Father Leo XIV and for all the particular needs of each one.
