Remembering the pass of saint Josemaría Escrivá along the Andorran border at Mas d’Alins, in the dawn of December 2nd 1937, we also want to walk the last section of this route that goes from Cal Roger, over Golf d’Avarell, to Mas d’Alins, in Andorra.
We will leave from the town of Bellestar at 9.00 h in the morning of December 7th 2004, to arrive at Cal Roger at 9.30 h. From this point we will go on foot to arrive at Argolell at around 15.00 h. Please bring along some food, as we will have lunch on the way.
At 16.00h, there will be a Holy Mass at the Church of the town of Argolell, officiated by Priest Ramon Porredon and presided by the image of the Virgin Mary of Feners, a Romanic stature of the hermitage of the town.
The total route takes about 5 hours to be completed. One can look it up in the book Camí d’Andorra (“Passage to Andorra”) to follow the entire itinerary. (It’s Route 6)
We hope to see you there!
