It is worth traveling many kilometers to visit Pallerols

Taking advantage of their trip to Rome to attend the priestly ordination of a common friend, Anthony and Loretta – a young couple from Australia – arrived at Pallerols on April 21. Miriam accompanied them from Barcelona, after passing by Torreciudad.

In Pallerols Jordi, Emilio and Beatriz were waiting for them.

They visited the rectory first, with the so-called “oven,” the place where St. Josemaria spent the painful night of November 21-22, 1937. Then they went down to the church and visited the rest of the rectory.

Finished this visit, they went up to the hut of san Rafael, returning to Barcelona in the late afternoon.

Every day it is more frequent that people of distant countries visit Pallerols to be able to revive “in situ” the vicissitudes of San Josemaria in its trip towards Andorra in the fall of 1937.
