Pere Juscafreda on a section of the Andorra Trail

On the morning of Monday, October 19, Pere Juscafresa passed away suddenly at his home in Girona.

For many years, he had participated in the activities and excursions of the “Voluntaris del Camí d’Andorra” (Volunteers of the Andorra Trail), alongside a group that frequently traveled from Girona including Ramon Bosc, Jaume Catalan, Pep Sarquella, Jesús Domingo, Eusebi Garcia, Xavier Oliver, the couple Alfons and Carme with their son Albert, the family of Leo Martínez and Fina Llapart with their son Edu, and others whom you can read about in various articles on the Volunteers’ website.

The Girona group focused primarily on clearing vegetation and marking the final stretch of the trail, from the Aravell Golf course to Andorra.

Pere was known for being a hard worker, strong, generous, and possessing a contagious optimism. We will miss him dearly!

We hope that many people will sign up as Volunteers to fill the void Pere has left behind.
