"Did Saint Josemaría really do this at night, cold, hungry, without water, in espadrilles and with the fear in his body of being discovered at any moment?" We were all asking this question as we crossed the trail with the blue and yellow signs. The truth is that it was impressive.
Twelve of us were fortunate that we were able to make this magnificent pilgrimage following in the footsteps of Saint Josemaría. Twelve, plus a special guest, Chema, an experienced friend of the trail who helped us with the logistics, but above all to create a fun atmosphere of coexistence.
We plan the trip in five stages, each with its own particularity. We all thought that the first was going to be a preparation, but it was already noticed that this was serious, and we arrived at the Ribalera with the right forces to be able to celebrate Holy Mass. Of course, no complaints, all together, going up and walking like wild boars ... |

At each break, we took the opportunity to read some of the scenes that appear in various stories of the Saint Josemaría Pass of the Pyrenees, and with our imagination we took charge of each moment. This happened here ... this area is where that happened ... Seeing it in person is much more impressive than reading it ...
The Ares mountain, the Cabra Morta pass, the descent of each of the mountains we cross ... An adventure that we will remember for the rest of our lives. Every time we hear about those days in the life of Saint Josemaría, we can imagine exactly what it was like.
