In this news we attach a summary of two visits to Pallerols: one in May and the other in August. There have been many other visits this summer. These two are a small sample.

1) On Saturday 15 May, a group of 15 professors and students from the Campus of Experience of the International University of Catalonia (UIC Barcelona) visited Pallerols. At 12.00 we visited the church and the rectory.

Then we saw the audiovisual of the passage and those who wished to pray the rosary in front of the image of the Virgin of the Roser.

We had lunch in the rectory refuge of what each of the visitors was carrying and, after a short break, almost all of us walked up to the San Rafael Cabin.

The day was highly satisfactory for all, both for the historical, religious and landscape significance of Pallerols, and for the warm welcome with which we were served.

The day ended at seven in the afternoon, with a particular recognition to the Association of Friends of the Way from Pallerols de Rialb to Andorra, for the quality of their work.

2) On Wednesday August 11, five women from various cities (Burgos, Seville, Murcia, Barcelona and Rome) organized a visit to Pallerols to relive part of the itinerary that Saint Josemaría Escrivá carried out with some of his first children and other people when he in the autumn of 1937, due to the religious persecution of those years of war, they arrived in these parts of the Baronia de Rialb, on their way to Andorra.

We attach a small testimony of this group of women:

"The Pallerols complex is very well restored and faithfully reproduced according to the sketches that are preserved. In the Church there is a reproduction of what could have been the image of the Virgin del Roser. There is accommodation to spend the night, a conference room where you can see videos and maps of the place and the different itineraries, and very illustrative and clear models to better understand the facts and routes.

After the guided tour, we went up to the Cabaña de San Rafael. You climb a small hill between trees, and the panorama -especially on the way down- is spectacular.

It is worth visiting the place and if possible with the help of a person who illustrates in detail what happened there. There are audio-visual resources that can be seen before and books written by people who have studied historical facts with professionalism.

An entrance ticket is not paid, the contribution is donations according to the will of the visitors.
