We celebrated the feast of St. Josemari\u0301a in Andorra, on June 25 and 27<\/font><\/strong><\/p>\n

On Saturday 25 June, the Association of Friends of the Cami\u0301 de Pallerols de Rialb in Andorra celebrated the traditional Gathering of Saint Josemari\u0301a, commemorating the feast of the founder of Opus Dei which is celebrated every 26 June.
The celebration of this X Aplec began at 14:00 with a popular lunch in the hut and fields, owned by Mr. Carles A\u0300lvarez Marfany -friend of the Association- right next to the Oratory of Cano\u0301lich, nearby de la Borda del Gasto\u0301 (Fontaneda).
This year, in addition to families from Andorra with their children and other people from Lleida, Barcelona, \u200b\u200bGirona and other parts of Catalonia, the Consuls of Sant Julia\u0300 de Lo\u0300ria, Hbles took part. Josep Majoral and Mireia Codina, with other institutional personalities from Andorra.
At the end of the lunch, some stories were read written by the expeditionaries of 1937 and which are included in the book “Camino de Liberacio\u0301n”. The events that took place on the night of December 1 to 2 when St. Josemari\u0301a passed through this very place were read. A way of reliving the moments when the escape expedition, in which Saint Josemari\u0301a was going, walked \u2014 in the first light of day \u2014 in the direction of Sant Julia\u0300 de Lo\u0300ria, where he arrived at around 9 in the morning on the 2nd. of December.
At 18:00 a video was shown in the Rocafort auditorium, of the Lauredia\u0300 Culture and Congress Center, in Sant Julia\u0300 de Lo\u0300ria, to remember a meeting that Saint Josemari\u0301a had at the Brafa Sports Center, in Barcelona, \u200b\u200bwhere of questions and answers conveyed the doctrine of the Church with anecdotes and practical advice.<\/font><\/strong> Finally, at 7.30 pm, the Eucharist was celebrated in the parish church. The Mass coincided with the celebration of the new Mass of the new priest of the diocese of Urgell, Fr Jerrick Banzuela Rodri\u0301guez, ordained on the 24th in the cathedral of Urgell together with another priest, Alejandro Vargas Moncada. With Fr Jerrick concelebrated Fr Pepe Chisvert, rector of the parish, Fr Xavier Pont, priest of the Prelature of Opus Dei who came from Lleida to join all the acts of the Gathering, and Fr Anto Pallikunnen, a priest from India who attends the church of El Fener in Andorra la Vella. In the presbytery, some seminarians were also present, companions of Fr Jerrick. In total, about 150 people attended the mass.
As a farewell, the relics of St. Josemari\u0301a were venerated while those in attendance congratulated the new priest, Fr Jerrick, with obvious signs of affection.<\/font><\/strong>
