A good man and a great professional<\/font><\/strong> <\/p>\n

On January 13, Miquel Casals, who rebuilt the rectory of Pallerols, died. The works began in September 2011 and ended in August 2015. Shortly after the works were completed, on September 3, 2015, Msgr. Javier Echevarri\u0301a, prelate of Opus Dei, blessed the rectory<\/font><\/a>.<\/font><\/strong><\/p>\n

For 4 years Miguel has patiently and with great professionalism rebuilt the rectory as it was in 1937, when Saint Josemari\u0301a Escriva\u0301 passed through these lands in the Barony of Rialb, on the way to Andorra.<\/font><\/strong><\/p>\n

Later, from October 2019 until the end of the year, he did the urbanization work around the church and the rectory, when he was already very ill. Still feeling very sick he wanted to finish the works with a lot of professionalism and quality, as always. 15 days later, he is dead.<\/font><\/strong><\/p>\n

Hard-working, punctual, with a spirit of service, in love with his profession and his family. An example for all of us who have experienced his professional and human work closely.<\/font><\/strong><\/p>\n

Surely he already enjoys the peace of God, with Saint Josemaria and Javier Echevarri\u0301a.<\/font><\/strong><\/p>\n
