In the Barranc de la Ribalera<\/p><\/div>\n

One of the young women writes the following:<\/p>\n

\u201cOn June 28, 2026, a group of young people from the Olabidea Residence Hall and the Belagua CET arrived in Pallerols from Pamplona. Jordi Piferrer was waiting for us there and transported us back to November 1937. As we toured the Pallerols Rectory, he explained all the stories that Saint Josemar\u00eda and his companions experienced within those walls. We were very fortunate to see the oven where Saint Josemar\u00eda spent a night in darkness, and also the church where he found the rose. Thanks to that rose, Our Lady of the \u201cPersonal Journey\u201d confirmed to Saint Josemar\u00eda that by continuing his journey to Andorra he was fulfilling God’s Will.<\/p>\n

Mass in the church of Pallerols<\/p><\/div>\n

The first day we went from the Masies de Narg\u00f3 to Fenollet, where We enjoyed a wonderful meal prepared for us by Rosa, a lovely woman. In this same house, Saint Josemar\u00eda and the others were able to rest and recharge thanks to Rosa’s parents, who received them with great hospitality.<\/p>\n

The next day, we started in Peramola, and after struggling up steep hills and feeling like mountain goats, we finally reached Ribalera, a beautiful spot where we attended Mass celebrated by Father Manuel. While enjoying our meal there, we had a big scare. We thought the priest had gotten lost and no one could find him. It turned out he was waiting in his car, and when he heard our shouts, he came back, thinking something had happened to us. So, it all became a funny anecdote.<\/p>\n

By the third day, we needed a rest after everything we had experienced. It was also the day we met Ram\u00f3n, who told us in great detail about the days they spent at the San Rafael Cabin, since We went that day. At the cabin, we had a big encounter with a bat. Upon entering, we disturbed the rest of the little creature, which lived peacefully in the cabin. It began to flutter about, frightening us all. We were so startled that we ran out so fast that some of us even fell over from the shock. Once the anxious moment had passed, Father Manuel celebrated Mass in the same place where Saint Josemar\u00eda had celebrated it.<\/p>\n

Later that afternoon, we had lunch at a reservoir and enjoyed a refreshing swim.<\/p>\n

On the fourth day, having regained our strength, we faced a tough stage. From the Aravell Golf Course to the Civ\u00eds River, we had some trouble when we lost sight of the trail markers. We walked cross-country until we reached a summit where we ate, and then, thanks to Ram\u00f3n, we found our way back to the end.<\/p>\n

The goal for the fifth day was to reach Sant Juli\u00e0 de L\u00f2ria, Andorra. We drove to the We started in the village of Argolell and from there climbed up to Mas d\u2019Alins, continuing on to the church of Sant Juli\u00e0 de L\u00f2ria. During this journey, we had wonderful conversations and inspiring moments, accompanied by plenty of music, until we arrived at the church where Saint Josemar\u00eda arrived on December 2, 1937. We visited the Blessed Sacrament and finished the journey with plenty of refreshing drinks and pleasant company.<\/p>\n

At each dinner, we took turns sharing our “golden nuggets” and “thorns” from the day. We also won’t forget the card games playing “liar’s blunder,” the snacks we enjoyed upon arrival, and the excellent coordination between the shepherdesses, the guide dog, and the sheep throughout the entire trip.<\/p>\n

It was a wonderful experience that has enriched our physical and spiritual well-being, and we hope to repeat it someday\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
