I was lucky enough to take a short trip to Pallerols last October. It was one of the best experiences of my life -I want to encourage many people who live near or far, it’s a matter of organizing themselves- to be able to live this experience.<\/p>\n

Why do I say this? Because thank God, starting with the weather which was very good and the two guides (Jordi and Ramon), who with passion and affection explained each of the steps to us, and for the effort that it meant in some of the sections, what we experienced was indescribable.<\/p>\n

In my case, there were two things that came back to life in an unexpected way: the love of the Holy Mass (seeing how our Father risked his life but did not stop celebrating Mass whenever he could, on those rocks, with the certainty that there was the strength to continue, which moved not only people from the Work, but that boy who said “I don’t know if it was because of the circumstances or because this priest is a saint…”) and, the love for priests (Josephmaria, where they stopped during the passage of the Pyrenees, asked if there were hidden priests and sought them out to offer them her priestly help), for me what is left is to pray so that there are more and more priests faithful to Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n

Being in the Saint Raphael cabin, seeing the place where he found the Rialb rose or climbing these sections of the beginning of the Pyrenees, until reaching Andorra where he was finally able to celebrate dressed after years, is living the story that has been told in many books.<\/p>\n

Both Jordi and Ramon, together with many other volunteers, have made this walk something very affordable that hopefully we can all take advantage of.<\/p>\n
