With this title –Walking in faith<\/i>-, one of the expedition members from Pamplona, \u200b\u200b<\/span>Blanca Basanta, briefly tells us about the 8 days lived intensely on the Camino de Andorra – from Pallerols to Andorra – where they arrived on July 14. She says like this:<\/p>\n

\u201cInspired by the route that Saint Josemar\u00eda Escriv\u00e1 de Balaguer had to take in the fall of 1937, a group of 11 girls from Pamplona, \u200b\u200b<\/span>Madrid and Barcelona decided to dedicate the days between July 7 and 14, 2024 to imitate, of the way as faithfully as possible, the steps of this saint on his path to freedom. An adventure that was not only a physical challenge, but also a spiritual journey.<\/p>\n

The expedition began on Sunday, July 7. The group, which brought together girls from Madrid, Pamplona and Barcelona, \u200b\u200b<\/span>unified in Pallerols, where as soon as they arrived they walked to the Caba\u00f1a de San Rafael to celebrate Mass and mark the beginning of their pilgrimage.<\/p>\n

On Monday the 8th, the walk from Peramola to Masies de Narg\u00f3, through Auben\u00e7, represented one of the longest and most challenging routes, with 23 kilometers of route and a considerable gradient. The mix of mountainous landscapes and the feeling of following the old traditional paths, used by smugglers and ranchers, added a historical and cultural air to their march.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday the 9th he continued with a route that took the group through different points in the region, including Comalavall and Fenollet. On Wednesday the 10th, through Oliva de Cab\u00f3, Ares and Noves de Segre. Each day, in addition to the walk, included moments of prayer and reflection.<\/p>\n

On Friday the 12th and Saturday the 13th, the walks continued from Noves de Segre to the R\u00edo de Civ\u00eds and then to Sant Juli\u00e0 de L\u00f2ria in Andorra, totaling 93 kilometers traveled.<\/p>\n

Each day presented new challenges and dazzling landscapes, which enriched the experience, strengthening the friendship between the participants.<\/p>\n

This adventure not only represented a physical challenge, but also a deep spiritual experience and connection with history, as we followed the footsteps of Saint Josemar\u00eda Escriv\u00e1 along the ancient mountain paths.\u201d<\/p>\n
